Australians are very kindly kind and always helps help me with any tiny troubles I have*. It is really thankful to me* and I was really thankful for it and have good memories.

Australians are very kind and always help me with any tiny troubles I have*. I was really thankful for it and have good memories.

Australians were very welcoming and positive. They always helped me out when something went wrong (=when there was a problem), which I really appreciated (=was thankful for). I have great memories of my time in Australia.

I think it could be super challenging to adapt to US American culture just because I don't know that I'm not familiar with it (=I don't know it). I grow up for 30 years have spent my whole life in Korea.

"I empathize with" vs "I resonate with"

"I empathize with" vs "I resonate with"

To empathize with someone/something = you feel the emotions with someone else. To resonate with something = it feels really true to you

For example, "He told me about his struggles with depression, and I really empathized with him because I have also had this kind of problem."

For example, "The professor gave a speech about the importance of democracy which really resonated with me."
