I was impressed that "small talk" is able to give gives listeners the opportunity to relate or chime in.
When people speak to me, I tend to listen and go along with (=follow/agree with) what they say.
In my university, there were many foreigner foreign students, so I talked with them. There was a lot of I want I wanted to say, but it was difficult to say in English, so I can't couldn't speak I want all everything I wanted.
