✏️ Tutor's Editing Place
My vocabulary is weak, so I can't think of words, so I'm slow at forming sentences.
I don't usually use English well, so I still feel awkward.
I want accurate sentence structure and pronunciation correction rather than various expressions.
Intros:
Living in Korea/ Apply for a language support programme at the company (Ringle) / I will study English step-by-step and I hope this programme helps me and when I go on a trip and go to college for scholarship abroad later.
How can I blur background?

Think of a problem that you have with English phrasing that you’d like your tutor to help with. Practice using the above expressions to ask for help.
There are words that native speakers normally use that I couldn't quite understand. I would like to hear an explanation on when and in what situations to use this word. 'though' I have seen many cases where everything is said and then just added at the end of the sentence without much meaning. Do you frequently use the adverb in daily convos?

-> There are words commonly used by native speakers that I find difficult to understand. I would like an explanation of when and how to use the word 'though.' I often see it added at the end of sentences without much apparent meaning. Is this adverb frequently used in everyday conversations?
THOUGH:
"Though" is often used to introduce a subordinate clause that contrasts with the main clause. It can be placed at the beginning or in the middle of a sentence.
The weather is really bad today, but I wanted to go to a restaurant though.
Though the weather is bad, I want to go to a restaurant
I want to go to a restaurant even though the weather is bad.
I want to do x even THOUGH y is a problem
Why do you like this job though?
Why do you like this job though?
-> Why do you like this job
-> THE FUNCTION OF 'THOUGH' IS BECAUSE THEY WANT MORE INFORMATION
Example:
Beginning of the Sentence:
- Sentence: "Though it was raining, we decided to go for a walk."
- Explanation: This sentence contrasts the bad weather with the decision to go for a walk, indicating that despite the rain, the action was taken.
Middle of the Sentence:
- Sentence: "We decided to go for a walk, though it was raining."
- Explanation: Here, "though" introduces the contrasting idea (it was raining) after the main clause (we decided to go for a walk).
Ask for some additional explanation about a phrase you recently learned using the above expressions.
